Our youth orchestra is the precursor to the regular orchestra with independent performances on various occasions. Anyone who has been playing their instrument for a while and would like to join an orchestra with somewhat simpler pieces is very welcome – even as an adult! The rehearsals take place on Fridays from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in the Marienrachdorf multi-purpose hall.

Foundation of a youth orchestra
In 2017, the Musikverein Marienrachdorf expanded its youth work by founding a new youth orchestra. In addition to the training orchestra, the youth orchestra offers another opportunity to prepare for the regular orchestra in the Musikverein Marienrachdorf . The youth orchestra is led by our conductor Alexandra Diedrich. There is no age limit, but those interested should have been playing an instrument for one to two years.
